Small / Large Volvi
On the north side of Lake Volvi there are two picturesque villages, small and large Volvi. The names do not correspond to reality, since the Little Volvi is populated and more extended than the Great. Both settlements have a rich natural landscape as they are favored by the lake Volvi to which both are so close. In the Little Volvi a castle was built probably by the Emperor Justinian. The bulb, which was discovered when the water level fell had probably named the settlements.
